A few layers of any kind of cooked meats or toppings (that you love), can be added to these little pizza biscuits all baked together in a cupcake tin exactly how you would order one out!

Appetizer Pizza With Many Additional Mix-ins



The best idea about making these biscuits layered with cheese, and tomato sauce is any mix-ins, or toppings you would like to add are limitless.


We have so many picky eaters, all 12 biscuits can be something different and this is even a fun project for the kids to learn how to cook basic food.

Tips:

  1. only use cooked loose meats or deli meats chopped
  2. add any kind of cheese shredded or sliced to fit your muffin pan
  3. a loaf pan can be used to make a large biscuit and slice it when it's slightly cool
  4. if you do use hamburger meat or sausage cooked make sure you use a paper towel to remove all the grease
  5. store-bought or homemade pizza sauce can be used
  6. keep leftovers stored in the refrigerator  in an airtight container and reheat in the oven wrapped in foil
  7. in a real hurry? try making biscuits with a baking mix like Bisquick

Step By Step Biscuit Style Pepperoni Pizza Appetizers:

  1. preheat the oven to 375 degrees
  2. make the batter
  3. layer with batter, cheese, and sauce, and top with pepperoni
  4. fill with other suggestive toppings
  5. top with even more cheese if you desire
  6. bake for 25 minutes




Other Toppings:

  • peppers, onion, artichoke hearts, olives, mushrooms
  • fresh spinach leaves or arugula
  • any kind of bottled jarred pizza sauce
  • make a full meat lovers pizza by adding loose sausage, pepperoni, bacon, or ham
  • use only vine-ripe diced tomatoes for the best results
  • for seafood lovers, shrimp, scallops, or other shellfish
  • use any turkey pepperoni instead of regular
  • ricotta cheese mixed with garlic powder, shredded mozzarella
  • crushed meatballs in sauce
  • leftover steak with caramelized onions, extra sharp cheddar
  • any kind of assorted cheese can be used that melt easily
  • cooked ground beef drained, crispy cooked bacon, cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, tomato sauce
  • cooked breaded chicken, alfredo jarred sauce, and swiss cheese
  • leftover rotisserie chicken use hot sauce, not tomato sauce, crispy bacon, top with cheddar cheese
  • any other herbs you prefer
  • any other chopped vegetables

Easy Pizza Biscuits



These little pizza biscuit muffins are fun, and the perfect snack food especially on game day with a variety of other party finger foods.

Any kind of pizza I put in front of my crew is always loved and these appetizer pizza biscuits are the first to all get eaten and I never seem to make enough.

Super easy to make in no time and still made from scratch!


Pepperoni Pizza Biscuit Style Cupcakes

Pepperoni Pizza Biscuit Style Cupcakes

This is a layered batter of cheese, homemade biscuits, and sauce and topped with pepperoni great appetizer or snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons mixture of basil, oregano, and parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper just a dash or to taste and optional cayenne pepper if you like heat
  • 1/2 cup store-bought pizza sauce or use homemade
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced pepper pepperoni, genoa salami, or Italian cooked sausage
  • Optional: diced olives, diced peppers, diced mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease a muffin pan with oil cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl add the flour baking powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper to taste.
  4. Stir in the milk and eggs to blend evenly.
  5. Layer the cupcake tin by adding some batter smoothing evenly, cheese, and sauce then top with pepperoni or whatever else you like on a pizza, ending with more cheese.
  6. Bake the muffins until lightly browned around 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. Serve with more dipping sauce if you like any kind even alfredo!
