2 pounds boneless chicken breasts
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
4 to 4 tablespoons cornstarch mix in a little water to make a paste then add
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
dash cayenne pepper
freshly cracked black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons minced garlic or 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
2 tablespoons sesame oil
4 cups steamed broccoli florets
White Rice cooked
Add into a fry pan the chicken and saute until the juices run clear then mix in (or into the slow cooker) broth, sesame oil, garlic, flakes, soy sauce, brown sugar and cornstarch. Simmer until chicken is fork tender and mixture thickens.
Steam the broccoli and cook the rice to package instructions.
Serve chicken and sauce over broccoli and rice.
Note TIP: ( if using a slow cooker I slice it up after it's cooked. The chicken stays juicy if left whole breasts) Cover and cook on high 3 to 4 hours or low 5 to 6 hours. Add the steamed broccoli and serve over cooked rice.
