Double The Recipe
I actually always double this recipe as it will never make enough for my crew eating these.
They will fly off the table. Pass the butter and eat them warm around 5 minutes out of the oven.
Always a comfort for breakfast when there's a chill in the air.
My Kids Love Them
When the kids were little I made them often and made sure I had an abundance of blueberries in the freezer during the winter months.
These sure do bring back memories and good ones of my own childhood when my mom made them for me.
I love making memories with great food stories don't you?
Fresh Berries
When I was a little girl, mom and I would go blueberry picking.
There is nothing like fresh blueberries or any kind of berry for that matter, fresh is best for making muffins.
Love The Smell Baking
Muffins baking are such a delicious smell.
It's was so comforting to wake up to the smell of these muffins when mom made them.
Now my family gets the same benefits when I make them.
If you happen to have any leftover muffins try these grilled blueberry muffins.
Basic Recipe
These are a basic recipe and easy to make muffin recipe.
The trick is to moisten not mix them, leave the lumps and only fold in the berries.
Since it's a versatile recipe, strawberries, mango, raspberries and chopped peaches all go great as substitutes.
