Our Grandson Antonio had three helpings he loved the taste of the pasta so much!
He is a very picky eater he made grandma very happy today!
I can usually get him to eat french fries or macaroni and cheese and tomato sauce on pasta, that's it!
A New Name!
He said "Grandma I love butterfly bow ties, that's what he calls them!
Antonio thought the pasta looked like butterflies.
This boy just melts my heart.
The pasta is so tasty and really flavorful with the buttery lemon sauce.
Now we have a new name for this pasta, butterfly bow ties, he is such a cutie!

Of course, now you know we call this butterfly bow ties instead of the real name.
You certainly can use any kind of pasta, but this fun shape really made a big hit with our grandbaby and we were thrilled he got to eat all his dinner!
The sauce is just a tiny bit tangy but the butter compliments this chicken, broccoli and pasta perfectly.

Broccoli Lemon Chicken Bow Tie Pasta
This is a delicious butter sauce with a sauteed chicken, broccoli with lemon over a dish of pasta
prep time: 15 Mcook time: 20 Mtotal time: 35 M
ingredients:
- 3 to 4 cups any cooked chicken like leftover boneless rotisserie chicken or grilled boneless chicken breasts
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 lb bow tie pasta cooked to package directions reserve 1/2 cup pasta water
- 1 fresh lemon sliced dipped in sugar on both sides
- fresh basil leaves around 3 or 4 torn
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- salt, pepper to taste
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup grated romano cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- granulated garlic powder
- Optional: red pepper flakes
instructions:
How to cook Broccoli Lemon Chicken Bow Tie Pasta
- Cook pasta, drain, toss in 2 tablespoons butter, set aside.
- In a large fry pan, saute the broccoli in 4 tablespoons olive oil. Add the minced garlic for around 1-minute stirring.
- Add the cooked chicken, torn basil, salt, pepper to taste, lemon juice, butter, wine, olive oil and pasta water to the broccoli and chicken pan. Cook for around 10 minutes on low.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the chicken broccoli mixture, add cheeses.
- Sprinkle top with more mozzarella. Garnish with lemon slices and whole basil leaves. We like red pepper flakes on top also.
