This Pineapple Teriyaki Salmon has a yummy honey pineapple glaze and we are major fans of how this is prepared!


It’s so simple and doesn’t require any lengthy marinating, and still bursting with a great Asian flavor.


The salmon turns out flaky, juicy has the perfect balance with our homemade teriyaki sauce.


This easy seafood dish is always asked for and even the kids love it!

Delicious Salmon




This is a homemade recipe with a sweet tender moist salmon that has just with just the right amount of glaze poured over the top.


This recipe is super easy that really complements this kind of fish.


This salmon is also the perfect leftover on your favorite salads.

Ingredients for Salmon

  1. sesame seed oil
  2. salmon filets
  3. olive oil
  4. garlic
  5. soy sauce
  6. cornstarch
  7. toasted sesame seeds
  8. crushed pineapple
  9. honey
  10. ginger
  11. salt, pepper, and cayenne if you want some heat

Cooking Methods

  1. Air Fryer: preheat to 400 degrees, oil spray salmon using a pie plate that's oven-proof, or place on an oil sprayed basket. add whatever other ingredients 2 minutes before completed cooking on top it takes around 7 minutes or until salmon flakes easily
  2. Oven: preheat oven to bake at 400 degrees using the same directions as air frying but place on bake for 12 minutes with ingredients of choice on top around 6 minutes into baking
  3. Grilled: heat the grill to 400 degrees then place salmon, skin side up, on gas grill over medium heat, or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals, add the pineapple on the grill in chunk form for this and pour sauce on top when completed cooking the salmon

Pineapple Teriyaki Salmon

Pineapple Teriyaki Salmon

This is a delicious homemade teriyaki sauce for salmon with some bits of pineapple, a tropical delight!

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 1 1/2 pounds) salt and pepper to taste
  •  cooking oil  spray
  •  1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic finely minced
  • Garnish is optional: toasted sesame seeds and lemon slices
  • Teriyaki sauce: 
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce 
  • 1/4 cup water 
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar 
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger or use a dash of powder
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1/4 cup diced crushed, chunk pineapple fresh or canned drained and blotted dry with paper towels( or use pineapple preserves, fresh or another style preserve IE peach, apricot, etc)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  •  2 teaspoons cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Teriyaki sauce instructions: 
  2. Add the soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, honey, and sesame oil in a small pot over medium-high heat. 
  3. Stir until sugar is dissolved, about 3 minutes then bring to a boil on high heat. adding the pineapple blotted dry. 
  4. Mix the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water until dissolved.
  5.  Add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce and boil for 1-2 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Set sauce aside.
  6.  Salmon:
  7. Heat the oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat. 
  8. Add the salmon fillets with salt and pepper to taste. 
  9. Place the salmon, skin side up in the pan, and sear until a golden-brown crust forms.
  10. Turn over the salmon after around 3 minutes add the garlic, for another 2 minutes. (do not burn the garlic watch carefully), and let that sautee with the oil. 
  11. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the salmon. 
  12. Optional: Add the toasted sesame seeds for a garnish.
  13. Note: You also can bake the salmon in a casserole dish at 400 degrees for around 12 minutes. Add the garlic 2 minutes before the fish is completed cooking
  14. Grill: Place salmon in with sauce and pineapple chunks instead of the crushed grill for around 11 minutes.
  15. Air Fried: Air fry  11  minutes on 400 degrees preheated air fryer. Cook the salmon first, plate it then pour the sauce on after cooking on top.
