Tips for Making the Best BLT Dip

  • Use the exact ingredient brands you would use to make a BLT (if you prefer sweet mayo use it!)
  • Any kind of lettuce you like is fine
  • Keep this cold at all times (it's better served 2 to 3 hours after it's been made refrigerated
  • Low-fat products are fine to substitute
  • For Diabetics, choose low-carb vegetables and pork rinds for dipping
  • Keep this dip over ice and covered at outdoor functions
  • This dip is great for a sandwich spread with any leftovers
  • If you add other ingredients to your regular sandwich or prefer a certain toasted bread, just use whatever you're used to, IE pickles, sliced cheeses, radishes, cucumbers, etc
  • Use thick-cut bacon for the best texture and flavor—cook until extra crispy.
  • Drain tomatoes well or use cherry tomatoes to avoid a watery dip.
  • For extra flavor, mix in a little ranch seasoning or fresh chives.
  • Want to make it low-carb? Skip the bread and serve with cucumber slices or bell pepper strips.
  • Add more or fewer spices to taste

  • Bring it to a gathering and watch it vanish; people can’t resist the combo of creamy base + smoky bacon + fresh toppings.

  •  Add a touch of ranch or garlic for an extra flavor boost
  •  Swap greens out with romaine, with arugula or butter lettuce for a different crunch
