BLT Dip Recipe

Sunday, July 12, 2020
If you're a fan of a BLT sandwich, you're really going to flip over our BLT DIP with the addition of creamy mayonnaise, sour cream loaded with crispy fried bacon it's so addicting.

It’s served cold and topped with layers of crispy bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and served with a variety of chips, pita points toasted, or vegetables.

Seriously one of the best dips ever, crispy bacon, romaine lettuce tomatoes with the creamiest flavored dip in the middle of it to scoop up with any kind of bread or chips you like.

This is the most asked for at a picnic or family get-together and so easy to transport and one of the best appetizers on any menu!

It keeps great over ice if you're outside at a summer picnic also and travels well.

If you love appetizers and creamy dips, try some of my  Buffalo Chicken Wing Dip,  Tuscan White Bean Dip, or another family favorite Artichoke and Spinach Dip.

Dips are so easy to serve and if you have one that is very popular as this one and feeding a large crowd, make a double batch, it's the first one gone at any party!

We even love sliced fruit to use as a dipping ingredient, so if you're watching carbs no problems just check out the list!

Seriously, this is the most addicting BLT dip on the planet, you must try it!

Bacon

I love applewood bacon and that's all I ever buy.

There are hickory smoked and maple-flavored kinds in your meat case at the supermarket, just pick whatever you prefer.

I never fry bacon, I always lay it in a baking pan lined with parchment and bake it until super crispy as shown on 350 degrees.

It's easier and virtually no mess unless it spills over with grease in the pan.

I have even used disposable pans, to save time in the cleaning process.

Cook the bacon any way you want but this is the easiest way I have found to prepare with little fuss.
