Sugar Cookie Mix Truffles

Saturday, March 27, 2021
If you love the taste of freshly baked Sugar Cookies, you're going to love them transformed into a candy truffle dipped in chocolate.

This easy confection is made up of baked sugar cookies, cream cheese then covered in either white. milk or dark chocolate.

These are so simple to make and look like they came from a professional candy store and seriously addicting in flavor.

So easy that even small children can help mold them and it's a fun family in the kitchen project for any holiday or special occasion.

The cookies are baked to package instructions, cooled then made into crumbs, however, you can use your favorite pre-baked flavored cookies and make delicious no-bake truffles.

These really make great gifts around the holiday and are a nice addition to those who are cookie lovers.

The dough is so versatile because adding colorful sprinkles or molding the dough into creative shapes can be made to any theme or party function quickly.

We made these with pastel sprinkles and nonpareils for Easter then red and green for Christmas, then Patriotic for the 4th of July in red, white, and blue sprinkles then green for St. Patrick's Day.

If you create food recipes try some others we love like our Italian Easter Desserts and Fun Recipes all decadently delicious or No-Bake Buckeye Bars that are also super simple to make.

Fun and Easy

What can be easier than making candy starting out with a sugar cookie mix or any other kind of cookie mix boxed package you like?

This super easy confection turns out to be wonderful yummy thick soft-baked cookie dough-like candy everyone thinks must have been very difficult and super fun and easy.

This cookie candy is somewhere between a soft chewy cookie and a cake pop but not as sugary since there is no frosting and cream cheese mixed in the baked cookie crumbs.

This recipe is step by step and a perfect addition to any party cookie tray we used homemade cookies but as I suggested for no-bake truffles just use any store bought as a substitution.
