Creamy Spaghetti Casserole

This quick, budget-friendly family dinner that’s full of creamy, cheesy goodness, this Creamy Spaghetti Casserole is the perfect choice

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound spaghetti
  • 4 ounces of softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup milk ( you can substitute 2 percent or even half-and-half for this recipe)
  • 1 cup shredded whole milk mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Directions:
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13 x 9 oven-proof casserole dish.
  3. Cook Spaghetti according to package instructions and drain.
  4. Heat around 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet, add garlic, and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes, being careful not to brown.
  5. On a low simmer, add the cream cheese and milk to the skillet and whisk until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add in Parmesan, half of the mozzarella, salt, and pepper, and mix well.
  7. In a large pasta bowl, toss the pasta with the sauce.
