Nothing like planning a dinner party last minute.  My version of Quick Lasagna!

Fast and Easy quick lasagna you can make any time during the week for all those lasagna lovers out there that are in a hurry. This lasagna has everything you need to wow your family and guests all in one pan.

Here is a short cut version of our love for lasagna. Sometimes you have to get a little creative to make it happen.

This came out terrific although it took me half the time. I usually layer my lasagna the day before then bake it when it's almost time to serve, the flavors are enhanced.

The only real big difference is the noodles and how it cuts in slices. The noodles broken up to make it quicker. Still it looks nice and taste great.

lasagna all in one pan that is made so easy you can make it during a busy work week with meats and ricotta cheese

I really strive to make everything from scratch but sometimes you just have to step it up and get creative when you run out of time. Lasagna can be time consuming for sure.

Tip: if you really want to make this even faster, buy pre-boiled noodles, break them up, layer and bake! You may need extra sauce however since it absorbs so much more of the sauce.

I also make my original with crushed meatballs and homemade sausage. See how fast this one will come together and still make everyone happy.

Don't ever read for package mix ingredients this one is quick and easy lasagna that everyone will rave about!

In the meantime while the noodles cook:

Fry 1 lb hamburger and 1 lb loose sausage fried together drain stir 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 tablespoon grating cheese set aside
4 o 5 cups Italian sauce homemade or store bought
1 lb Ricotta cheese mixed with 1 egg and 1 tablespoon grating cheese( 1 egg per pound of Ricotta so if you use more double recipe)
 2 cloves minced garlic
shredded mozzarella
salt and pepper to taste in everything

i

Place drained cooked broken noodles in a large 13x9 deep baking pan sprayed with cooking oil.  Put some sauce on the bottom, broken noodles next. Drop or spread the Ricotta mixture next over the noodles then some shredded mozzarella evenly over the top of them. Add the meat,  spoon on more sauce ending with more noodles on top. Sprinkle with more shredded mozzarella. ( I add some dried parsley or fresh on top with dried oregano which that is optional.)

Bake for around 30 minutes or until cheese is melted on 400 degree hot oven.
