Red Velvet Cake Mix Recipe
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup canola oil
1 bottle red food coloring
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9 inch pans or 13x9 sheet cake pan. Place everything in an electric mixer bowl and beat until smooth around 3 minutes. Pour into prepared pans. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or to package instructions. Use the toothpick in the center test to see if its clean.
3 cups whipping cream
4 ounces softened cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
4 teaspoons milk
Add the cream cheese to a mixing bowl and beat using a high powered electric mixer, whip just till blended. Add the cream and keeping beating on high until adding the powdered sugar until soft peaks are formed. Frost cooled cakes, keep cake refrigerated.
