Slow Cooker Pork and Slaw Sandwiches is a fork-tender shredded meat piled high on a roll topped with delicious cole slaw.

The recipe is super easy since the slow cooker does most of the work and the slaw is just a few pantry ingredients.

Piled high even on plain old hamburger buns this crowd-pleaser is a hit every time plus we set up a topping bar at parties with an array of garnishes!

Pulled pork is an instant classic and slow-cooking it is simply the way to go on Game Day events, parties, and even potluck picnics.

All you need is some of your favorite pickle chips and potato snacks for a side dish.

You can even slow-cook the pork before bedtime, turn it on low for around 8 hours, and to save time for your slaw topping, use prepackaged cabbage and carrot coleslaw with store-bought dressing to shave off prep time.

Just bring along some buns and the rest is easy to pile on this tender shredded pork tenderloin and slaw on those soft rolls.

The Easy Way Out to Make Pork n Slaw Sandwiches

  1. slow cook a pork tenderloin with our ingredients or just add store-bought barbecue sauce and hot sauce see directions
  2. use prepacked cole slaw and store-bought dressing or use our homemade recipe
  3. pile the meat high on a hamburger or hard roll
  4.  top with slaw
  5. serve with pickles and potato chips

  1. pork tenderloin
  2. coke, rootbeer, or cherry coke, or use our recipe below
  3. barbecue sauce or make it homemade
  4. your favorite brand of Hot sauce
  5. hamburger or hard rolls
  6. coleslaw with dressing
  7. Serve with pickles and potato chips

Best Leftovers for Pork "n" Slaw Easy Sandwiches



This recipe makes a lot of slow-cooked pulled pork, so you can use the leftovers the next night for a different meal as it can be added to a chili recipe or even piled high on top of tortilla chips with melted cheese.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Pork with Slaw is a fork-tender shredded meat piled high on a roll topped with delicious cole slaw

Ingredients

  • 3-pound pork tenderloin
  • 1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce or use our Jack Daniels Homemade Sauce Recipe
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup coke, rootbeer, or cherry coke
  • Slaw Recipe:
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 large carrot, finely chopped or shredded in a food processor
  • Note: bagged cole slaw mixed can be substituted
  • Dressing for the slaw:
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons milk or buttermilk add more if you like this moister
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder
  • salt, and pepper to taste
  • Note: you can also use a premixed salad dressing cole slaw found in the dairy case at your local supermarket

Instructions

  1. Add the pork tenderloin to the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the top very lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the coke on top.
  4. Add the barbecue sauce of choice in a bowl with the hot sauce and garlic, mix together and pour over the pork.
  5. Slow Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or low for 7 to 8 hours or until the meat pulls apart easily with two forks.
  6. Mix all the cole slaw ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
  7. Discard the liquid from the pork, and shred the meat with two forks.
  8. For serving: Pile high (around 1 cup of meat on a roll) and a 1/2 cup of slaw on top.
  9. Serve with pickles, potato chips, or another snack you prefer for easy sides.
