Tips for The Tastiest Cheddar Biscuits
- Use freshly shredded cheddar cheese for the best melting quality and flavor.
- Don't overmix the dough. Stir only until combined to keep the biscuits tender.
- Use cold butter for a light, flaky texture.
- Measure flour correctly by spooning it into the measuring cup and leveling it off.
- Brush the tops generously with garlic butter immediately after baking.
- Bake until just golden brown; overbaking can dry them out.
- Let them cool for a few minutes before serving so the texture sets properly.
