The flavors in this gravy and the tenderness of the meat are perfect for filling tacos, over pasta noodles and so much more.
I have used chuck, roast, and London broil, these are both great cuts to use in this recipe.
The sauce is so flavorful with ingredients that tenderize any meat when cooking slowly.

Slow Cooker Rump Roast Marsala is a fork-tender flavorful beef that makes its own delicious gravy slow-cooked to perfection.
We love rump roast (also referred to as bottom round) it's the triangular cut from the upper part of the round or the hindquarters and an extremely lean cut of beef and when cooked in a slow cooker it comes out very tender.
I have used a London broil, and a great substitute for a rump roast/bottom round for flavor however you can also use chuck roast however much more full of fat.
Slow cooking is the secret to making this beef so moist and tender and the Marsala wine and our seasoning add the perfect flavor.
This delicious roast is perfect for weeknight dinners.
When I have a busy day ahead I just pop the roast in the slow cooker with all the ingredients and let this amazing appliance do its magic.
Adding a few vegetables in the crockpot with the roast will be a complete meal and ready when you get home from your busy day.
Our family loves the roast with garlic mashed potatoes and corn on the cob, those are their favorite sides so I tend to make those more often to keep them happy.
A gourmet tasting meal and there is hardly any work involved.

This is one of my favorite recipes as a child called Mom's Salisbury Steak she would make in a pattie style or meatball in a skillet.
The recipe is quick, easy, and economical as it can be all made from scratch or you can adapt it by using store-bought ingredients just check out my tips and suggestions.
We love the homemade version, the meat mixture is basic pantry ingredients and the vintage easiest beef gravy recipe is super easy to make using beef broth and not complicated at all.
Of course for those who prefer not to use a wine, you can just omit that and add a little more beef broth to thin the gravy no worries.
As a child, I thought the meatballs were a fun way to serve these and they were super delicious over roasted garlic mashed potatoes but Salisbury steak is usually in pattie form so you can choose what shape you like.
If you love ground beef recipes you can also try Mom's Goulash Recipe and Italian Meatball Stew, they are both delicious recipes and vintage from the 1940s like this recipe below.

Julia Child's (Boeuf a la Bourguignon) is a rich, beefy stew in red wine, with bacon, onions, and mushrooms.
This takes a little bit of time and more steps than many stews, but is very delicious. The meat is fork-tender, the vegetables burst with a robust flavor, and an amazing French meal.
I've always used a good burgundy wine; however, you can use a merlot or a cabernet as well.
Although I used London broil cubed, you don't have to worry about using expensive, pricey meat for this dish; use whatever beef is on sale, and stewing meat is perfect.
We love all kinds of stew,s and you may also like our Mississippi London Broil Pot Roast is one of our all-time favorites!
