Don't be afraid to make these they are so easy and really delicious! A big hit at every Halloween party! You will be the talk at every gathering or event. I love how creative they are with such little work involved and a huge delicious buttery flavor. The pistachios are the perfect addition and then using the pumpkin seeds for nails are perfectly gory! Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays, I love going over the top with treats and festive looking foods. These are just a great addition on Halloween night for friends and family and a bonus if your having a party. The kids just are in awe looking at them. Shaping them was really so easy I was pretty impressed.









 Halloween Pistachio Witches Finger Recipe

1 shelled cup pistachios finely ground
1/1/2 cups flour
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
4 ounces cream cheese
pinch of salt






For the finger nails: either use pumpkin seeds for the nails ( I already had some made from the pumpkin carvings this year)
or use whole or slivered almonds or shelled pistachios around 40 fingernail nuts.

ingredients:



  • 1 shelled cup pistachios finely ground
    1/1/2 cups flour
    1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
    1 cup powdered sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
    4 ounces cream cheese
    pinch of salt

instructions:

  1.  For the finger nails: either use pumpkin seeds for the nails ( I already had some made from the pumpkin carvings this year)
    or use whole or slivered almonds or shelled pistachios around 40 fingernail nuts.

    Cream the butter, powdered sugar together. Add the cream cheese, almond flavoring and salt till blended. Stir in the finely ground pistachios and flour.
    Shape into rope like fingers molding with your hands. Make 3 slits with the tip of a very sharp knife at the knuckle area. Add the finger nail to the top. 

    Bake in a preheated oven on 325 degrees until set around 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown. Cool and enjoy!
