These are easy-baked pork chops coated with a fabulous barbecue sauce and the whole family always said they are the best pork chops barbecued ever.


This recipe literally has 5 ingredients and will taste like the best summer barbecued flavor without all the fuss and so super simple to prepare pork chops that seriously everyone will rave about.


A good pork chop dinner doesn't have to be hard, that's why we love how perfect these come out so juicy and tender by baking them.

Tips

  1. Do not overbake chops
  2. cover the first 20 minutes then uncover
  3. for spicy add some cayenne pepper or hot sauce
  4. use apple juice, wine, or chicken broth for moisture
  5. boneless or bone-in chops are fine to use

Easy Baked Barbecued Pork Chops

These are the easiest pork chops ever, all in one-pan, moist, crunchy on the top, and deliciously flavored and baked in barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 Pork Chops center-cut bone-in or thick boneless
  • 1 cup crushed buttery crackers  or flavored bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup apple juice, white wine, or chicken broth
  • granulated garlic powder sprinkle evenly over the top of the  chops
  • Cajun seasoning is optional
  • 2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce or use my recipe for 
  • Jack Daniels Barbecue Sauce homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Line a 13 x 9 deep casserole pan foil or parchment paper.  I usually spray some cooking oil on it also so they don't stick.
  3. Place the pork chops to fit the pan.
  4. Pour the apple juice over the chops.
  5. Add some barbecue sauce to the tops of each pork chop.
  6. Sprinkle evenly with granulated garlic powder and Cajun seasoning if using.
  7. Top each pork chop with the crushed crackers or breadcrumbs.
  8. Loosely cover the top with foil for 20 minutes then remove.
  9. Bake for around 15 to 25  more minutes uncovered until brown on top ( depending on how thick your chops are).
  10. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper.
  11. Add more barbecue sauce if desired.
