Mandarin Orange Pineapple Coleslaw

Mandarin Orange Pineapple Coleslaw is a sweet delicious side dish that goes great with barbecue or fish. I was never a big fan of coleslaw until I had it with mandarin oranges and pineapple.






The fruits give this a whole new taste and made me a huge fan o mandarin orange pineapple coleslaw. I can never eat this any other way!  Hope you give it a try too.











I love the creaminess of this slaw. It's great with a baked fish or any seafood dish.


The sweetness is the perfect addition with these fruits that makes this super delicious and a special treat!


Every time we have a party to go to this is the best take along side dish so if you planning a barbecue give this one a try if you love coleslaw!




Mandarin Orange Pineapple Coleslaw Recipe


5 cups shredded cabbage


Dressing:

1/2 cup half and half cream

1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup white sugar

3 tablespoons white vinegar

salt pepper to taste


Fruits:

1 cup dole crushed pineapple (I have used fresh also) drained well

1 cup mandarin oranges well drained





Make the dressing using all ingredients except for pineapple, cabbage and oranges.

Place the cabbage in a large bowl toss with the dressing. Fold fruit in last. Refrigerate at least two hours before serving.

  1. I love slaws and this version is perfect for summer BBQs! Cutting the mayo with cream sounds perfect.
