Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

Easy baked pork chops with just a few ingredients that stay moist and delicious inside and outside have a delicious breadcrumb and Parmesan topping.
Prep time: 10 MinCook time: 25 MinTotal time: 35 Min

Ingredients

  • 4 Center Cut Pork Chops or 4 cut-in-half chicken breasts (boneless skinless)
  • Note: sometimes we make both pork and chicken on the same baking sheet (2 pieces of each)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning herbs
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Optional: black pepper to taste, pinch of cayenne pepper for heat or use 2 teaspoons of hot sauce for a spicy mayonnaise topping
  • Garnish: Italian Flavored Breadcrumbs
  • Optional Topping: crispy crumbled fried bacon

Instructions

  1. In a grided cast iron frying pan, sear the pork chops on both sides just to get some nice grill marks. Just around 2 minutes on each side on high heat.
  2. Note: (This is not a required step however we like a nice char on ours)
  3. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and oil spray or line a baking pan with parchment paper. ( Tip: add a little cooking oil spray to the parchment paper for a crisper bottom for the chicken).
  4. Add the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce. and seasonings to a small bowl and blend. ( black pepper is optional to taste)
  5. Place this mixture (around 1 tablespoon or more) on top of each piece of meat you're using.
  6. Sprinkle the top with breadcrumbs evenly on each piece of pork or chicken.
  7. Bake for around 25 minutes and test the meat with an instant-read thermometer.
  8. Pork should be at 145 degrees internal temperature when completed cooking.
  9. Follow the same instructions for substituting Chicken, however the internal temperature should be at 165 degrees when completed cooking.
  10. Let rest 3 to 4 minutes after baking before serving.
