Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip

This creamy bacon cheesy ranch dip is a hit at every party so make a double batch it's seriously the first bowl that's emptied every time at any social gathering.

Serve this creamy dip with bacon and cheese chilled with assorted crackers, and chips and it's the perfect crowd-pleasing dip out there.

• cream cheese softened
• sour cream
• mayonnaise
• dry ranch or blue cheese salad dressing mix
•  granulated garlic powder
• blended shredded cheddar cheese ( save some for the top we used Monterrey and Colby shredded)
•  crispy fried crumbled bacon 
• dill weed Garnish: minced basil, flat-leaf parsley

Serving Suggestions for Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip

• breadsticks: homemade breadsticks or refrigerator biscuits baked
• crackers: regular or flavored crackers
• tortilla chips: or a variety of flavored chips
• pita bread points: toasted pita bread cut into four pieces
• garlic toast: baguette bread brushed with olive oil and fresh garlic
• corn chips: try ranch-flavored or regular 
• smeared on bagels: this dip is a delicious spread on bagels or toasted bread
• potato chips: try some kettle chips flavored or regular-flavored
• toasted baguette bread: top with this dip then chopped tomatoes and green onions
• slices jalapeno peppers or other peppers: enjoy a little heat or sweet peppers with sliced peppers
• vegetable slices: sliced carrots, celery, or another vegetable you prefer: assorted vegetables are a great addition to the snack and dipping tray

• crunchy toasted almonds or use another kind of nut you prefer but toast them!
• chopped onion or use chopped green onions
• chopped diced tomato, just add on top
• blue cheese dry dressing mix or Italian seasoning mix
• sweet mayonnaise
• for those who aren't fond of sour cream just omit and add all mayonnaise
• Greek yogurt can be substituted for sour cream
• a dash of hot sauce
• a tiny bit of Dijon mustard
• a tiny bit of Worcestershire sauce
• Monterey Jack, Colby, or a Mexican blended shredded cheese
• bacon bits instead of real fried bacon
• diced jalapeno peppers or regular chopped bell peppers (green and red for Christmas)

How to Set Up a Snack Serving Bar for Party Dips

Dips are certainly a crowd-pleaser and the best way to enjoy the party when you're hosting is to set up a serving snack bar.

Make a large platter of assorted vegetables, crackers, and chips, and let them build a plate full of different dippers.

For individual servings, fill disposable plastic condiment containers (found at most dollar stores) so folks don't have to keep dipping into one bowl for sanitary reasons and keep everyone safe!

If you serve it all in one large bowl, place the dip over a ziplock bag of ice to keep a cold consistent temperature or in a cooler, especially if you're entertaining outdoors.

Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip

This is a creamy dip with crispy bacon, ranch and shredded cheese. Perfect with vegetables and snack chip dippers.

Ingredients

• 8 ounces cream cheese softened
• 1 cup of sour cream or Greek yogurt
• 2/3 cup of mayonnaise
• 1 package of dry ranch or blue cheese salad dressing mix
• 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
• 2 cups of blended shredded cheddar cheese ( save some for the top we used Monterrey and Colby shredded)
• 1/2 cup or more of crispy fried crumbled bacon ( around 6 slices crumbled, plus save some for garnishing)
• 1 teaspoon chopped dill weed
• Garnish: 1 tablespoon each of minced basil, flat-leaf parsley, shredded cheese and more crumbled bacon

Instructions

1. Beat the cream cheese with the ranch dip until smooth and no lumps are in it.
2. Fold in all the rest of the ingredients.
3. Add any mix-ins you prefer.
4. Garnish the top with crumbled bacon, chopped basil, parsley, and more shredded cheese.
5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
6. Serve with assorted snacks for dipping.
7. Note: this is easier to serve for dipping at room temperature.
