Steakhouse Style Baked Potatoes

Monday, January 3, 2022
Restaurant Steakhouse Baked Potatoes are so easy to make at home and we even have some tips and shortcuts to get them cooked even faster with modern technology.

The crusty salt with olive oil on the outside does the job to crisp them up nicely and with just a few ingredients you have one tasty spud.

These potatoes can be done quickly by partially cooking in the microwave than in the oven or roasting the old-fashioned way and of course in an Air fryer.

Steakhouse Baked potatoes are usually made using a Russett variety of potatoes, and there are several varieties of potatoes out there but these are always recommended for making baked potato or french fries.

Russet potatoes are the most inexpensive and widely used variety of potatoes.

The potato market is dominated in the United States by Idaho Farmers and thrives particularly well in Eastern and Southern Idaho because of the Volcanic Ash Soil

They make the best salty crispy skins and fluffy insides that we all love in those local food chains.

Easiest Baked Potato Side Dish

Back home in Upstate New York, we always had a grilled steak and baked potatoes with our meals, and in the summertime, we loved our corn on the cob.

These potatoes were always the quickest side dish to add especially after a long hard day at work, that's why we started the microwave baking method you can see below to cut the time down.

There are hardly any ingredients you need to make a delicious potato, and the nice thing about them is you can reheat them and make a whole batch for the week and just add some creative toppings with other leftovers you have in the fridge.

Again, Steakhouse style is not complicated and if you're a potato lover, this is a terrific basic recipe but be sure to read all the tips first.
